| STCW CIRCULAR NO. 2016-03 |
On Wednesday, July 20, 2016, the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) published a draft circular that will amend the duration of trainings allowed for seafarers on a daily basis.
The Maritime Training Institutions (MTIs) or training centers must ensure that all of their trainees won't exceed 8 hours a day on their classes except holidays where they are allowed to extend up to 2 hours.
