C/E Amaro and Former Admin Dr. Max Mejia 

Today (July 18th), our Martime Industry Authority Administrator Chief Engr. Marcial C. Amaro III will officially take over the helm of the Agency after he was appointed by President Duterte early of this July. From July 1 to July was the hand-over time given by outgoing Admin Maximo Mejia.

The Filipino seafarers have very high hopes for C/E Amaro especially after he promised a "true change" in the system of MARINA after his dialogue with the Philippine Asia of Maritime Training Centers Inc. on July 14.

C/E Amaro will take charge of the roughly 500,000 Filipino Seafarers who are extremely thirsty for change.

He is a graduate of Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA) class of1982.
