Kailangan ko pa ba gumawa ng Daily Journal o hindi na?

After the successful rally of United Filipino Seafarers(UFS) together with a huge number of Filipino mariners in front of MARINA Kalaw branch, a dialogue between the UFS president Engr. Nelson Ramirez and the MARINA representatives specifically the board of examiners took place.


MARINA promised a change will happen within the 1st week of November. On the other hand, Engr. Ramirez warned them that if nothing changes, they will meet in the Senate.

Now, many asked of what changed so far particularly if Daily Journal is still a requirement. YES, it is still a requirement as of now. MARINA didn't release a circular or an advisory yet about the removal of the Daily Journal.


Rumors are spreading that they will only change it's format because Engine Cadets have to get Longitude, Latitude, Course and Speed and Deck Cadets have to get Diesel Oil ROB, Lubricating Oil ROB and Fuel Oil ROB which is absurd.

Daily Journal is an additional requirement upon taking the OIC Licensure Examination.

    Panu pag nakapag BS na ako? Kaso baka this December makasakay ako. Required paba sa akin gumawa ng daily jornal? Kung mag exam ako pag baba ko?

    Sir last na bba ko is april 2015 din sumampa po ako nong july 2015 tapos contrata ko nganyon march 2016 need ko paba gumawa ng daily jornal?
